Set on a beautiful stretch of beautiful coastline boasting white sandy beaches and sparkling waters, the resort city of Nha Trang is also known as the Riviera of the Eastern Sea. It’s a fun and bustling spot located not too far from some of southeast Vietnam’s ultimate attractions, including Hon Tre Island.
Head inland and you’ll find the mountains that ring the city, or go out on a boat to discover untouched islets. There’s an abundance of sightseeing opportunities, too: Cham towers built between the seventh and 12th centuries, ornate Buddhist temples and even a French Gothic cathedral. Once you’ve satisfied your spiritual side, hit the hot springs, waterfalls and salt fields. As for after dark, you’ll revel in the freshest sea food served at local restaurants, and there’s a happening nightlife scene for those who are ready to party.
